I thought that one of the main differences between the 001 and a TDM system was that you couldn't monitor live effects. I have a P3-1GHZ with 512mb or ram, a 20gb 7200 hard drive, and a 40gb 7200 hard drive. I've got to admit the 001 is great, but I didn't know you could monitor live effects.. how do you do that?

In the mixer section select an insert effect. Make sure your buffer is set to 128 (only if your cpu can handle it), otherwise try 256. For monitoring with effects you will want to use Waves plug-ins because you will find that they respond quicker than most others. This is important when monitoring with a gate or any type of dynamic. The reverb will be great too. However, I prefer DVerb. Take care.
