Is there a way to turn on a scale for the
audio meters in ProToolsFree so that you
can see what the audio levels are in dB?
None of the meters anywhere seem to be
calibrated. The compressor meter shows
a top and bottom of scale value, but nothing
inbetween. This seems like a rather obvious
lack. When adjusting the volume curve a
readout appears in dB temporarily so the
information is available inside the program,
but I don't see any way to turn on marker tags on the meters.
Are other versions of ProTools like this?
This would make it very difficult to use for
any professional purpose.
