LAP 8.1(Mac) - MIDI Sounds change on startup

Anyone with an idea why my midi sounds seem to reset every time I open a song fresh? I have to click on each of the tracks to 'refresh' the synth (Korg N364 and XV5080). I'm using OMS but I had the same trouble with the PC before this.

There's a selection in your preferences that will allow you to 'Send program changes when opening a new song' (or something to that effect...) that should fix that for you. It will automatically 'refresh' when you open a new song...

I checked it last night and the option is already 'checked'. I always have both MIDI instruments running before starting LAP. Any other ideas?
