Help! How do I make output possible?

I just installed Logic Platinum. I'm getting
the error message: "No output possible. Create studio setup." I don't see how to
do this from the manual. I'm very new to this. Can anybody tell me where and how to create a studio setup?

You've got to set up the environment. I wish I could give you an easy answer but the best thing to do is shut down and spend some intimate time with the book.

Are you possibly using this with OMS? If so, you have to boot up the OMS Studio setup and tell it what port/midi channel all of your synths are on.

If you're not using OMS, then you have to do the same thing in the Logic Environment window...
