Is there a way that I can set-up a midi default template in Logic?

New to Logic. Finally got midi in and out. However, it won't remember (default to)the configuations I enter.

What I am looking to do is use the sound from my Roland XP-50 (set to slave).

The problem is the program keeps defaulting to No Driver or MS GS Wavetable. I would like to set it up so that when I turn it on it recognizes my Delta Audiophile 2496 Card.

Also I want it to play my roland sounds not the internal GM Device.

Can anyone help?

i think i know what you're saying. open the Autoload song and then make the changes you need to make to the enviroment. then save as Autoload. then when you start a new song you just load Autoload complete with all your changes.
