audiosuite plugins in LAP

can anyone tell me where audiosuite plugins should be stored on my drive so that logic can see them in the audio edit window. i've
got some free ones off the net and i cant seem to get logic to see them. this is on mac by the way.

As far as i know, and i may be wrong here, logic won't be able to see the audiosuite plugins unless you have protools, and i believe only protools tdm (ie it uses the hardware). Now i know that audiosuite doesn't use the tdm hardware at all but as far as i'm aware the audiosuite stuff is for protools, for logic to use protools it has to be tdm etc etc etc...

i think that you are right for the RTAS (real time audiosuite)plugins - these are dependent on pro tools hardware. however i'm pretty sure that audiosuite (AS) plugins dont depend on the hardware, they process the audio destructively and not in real time.
then again i could be wrong cause ive searched the manual and cant find any mention of it. yet the audiosuite menu is there in the audio window.
