hello
is it possible to apply effects individually to the different parts of an instrument bank loaded into exs24? e.g. i have an exs24 instrument containing various drum sounds. i program a loop out on an audioinst channel.. is it then possible to add effects such as compression and reverb to say, just the kick and hi hats.

if this is not the possible, what is the best way of adding fx to the individual drum parts, as opposed to having to use the fx on the whole instrument and hence the whole loop.

thanks.

Hi there!
You have to open more then one EX24S in the enviroment window (I think it's better to choose mono EX24S)... For each of them choose the same Program (I mean 'drum kit ').
In the arrange window demix your drumTrack by note pitch... you'll have a track for the bassDrum, one for the snare and so on... right?
Now assign every track to the differents audio instruments you have (instr 1: bassDrum; instr 2 snare and so on...).
Go back in the enviroment... and if you want put a compressor on the bassDrum choose the instr 1 and put in the plug-in window the compressor... You've done!
(...I hope... at least, if my english is not so wrong!!! ...I'm italian).
I hope I've helped you... let me know.
Bye, Rino
