Logic doesn't find any vst instruments

I have my instruments in a vstplugins folder in my logic audio directory, but the pluginfinder doesn't find the instruments. So what's the problem?

...look at the mixer and see "audio instr." - that's the place to put and see any vst instruments -just insert them there...:-)
