I'm sure this is a very simple answer, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've recently started recording w/ an omni studio/ delta 66 on a G4 w/ Delta Logic w/ a sampling rate of 96 khz/ 24 bit. I want to bounce to a 44.1 khz aiff in order to burn to CD, but it ends up slowing the track down. I also tried converting the sample rate within Logic, but that doesn't seem to work either. How do I do this? PLEASE HELP

I believe you want to dither, not bounce, to get from 24 bit to 16 bit. Look up dithering in your Logic manual.
Usually a person working with 96K, 24 bit files will keep them that way all the way to the final (bounced) stereo mix.
After you have your final 96K, 24 bit stereo mix you will run that file through a resample and dither process to get to 44.1K, 16 bit specification required to burn an audio cd.
I use Sound Forge to do that final process in the PC world, but Logic also has the same functionality. I'm not familiar with the Mac so I don't know what the equivalent to Sound Forge or Cool Edit 2000 is on that platform.
