View Full Version : Pioneer A04 problems
Any one having problems with Samplitude and the Pioneer A04 drive? I can burn just fine with Nero, but when trying to burn with Samplitude, I get an error message "cannot write to disc->required command parameter not supported by drive" Does this mean my drive is not supported by Samplitude? Thanks for any help you can offer.

If you've downloaded the latest CDR DLL and are still having problems, you're probably going to have to wait for the next update... Steve
Thanks for the help Steve
I've already tried that with no luck, I kind of hoped somone would mention something I had not tried or had overlooked. I have a support request in to Magix to see if there is a workaround.
Thanks again

Hi again, KC - I hope you get some answers from Magix soon - If you do, and you have a little time, I wouldn't mind a PM on the outcome - I'm planning on a firewire A04 for my new replacement DAW in late fall, and it wouldn't hurt to know what I'm up against. No biggie, just if you happen to think of it - Thanks... Steve (I have V6.04 as of now, and may stay there if they keep dicking around with UnSatisfactoryBus "Dung-les")(that was USB Dongles, just in case it was only obvious to my "augminished demented" mind...
I still have had no reply from Magix about this problem. Right now I'm in the middle of finishing the mixes of some live tracks that have to be done by the weekend, which means taking the audio drives to another studio to burn the master.....gotta love it. When I hear anything or can find the solution I'll be sure and let you know.
