Hi guys!
I just to know what do you think about file management in Samp. I don't like at all what Samp does when I apply an effect off-line: why the processed range of the wave project must be inserted to the tail of the unprocessed one (destructive mode) ? I don't like the fact that the
original wave project must be modified. I think that it's better if Samp asks for what the user wants, for example a prompt could be:

"do you want to create another file or change the existing one ?" In the case of modifing the existing one, this one must not be modified in length,
but the range processed must simply change, not added to the end of file.

What do you think about this things ?

Bye.

P.S.: where I work, I can't use Outlook to go in sek'd newsgroup, have you got news about the release date of 6.5 ?
Do you know if automation of VST plug-ins will be present ?

It does this to enable undo. It's probably better to import the file so the original remains untouched, depending on disk space. Don't forget once you've bounced the file the added bit won't be there!
