I downloaded the demo of Samp 2496 6.0 last weekend and have been trying it out this week. My first impression is that this app seems to have alot of power/flexibility, and I really like the UI. I have been surfing Samp newsgroups and I d/l'ed the .pdf manual from the Samp website, but there are a few things I haven't been able to sort out yet:
1) I want to use a soft synth in a track. I can see how to change the track to midi, but the only sound I get out if it is the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth - how can I change the settings to use one of my soft synths?
2) My sound card (Dakota) only works w/Samp @ 16 bits, but everytime I open Samp, the resolution gets changed to 32 bits. How can I set the resolution so it stays at 16 bit?
