speakers (rear not working)

I have logitech 5.0 series speakers. The front speakers work well but the rear ones put out no sound. It is a five speaker system including the sub-woofer, but I don't know how to get full audio from the speakers.

did you set windows to output surround sound? if not, go to control panel --> sounds and audio devices --> advanced --> then select 5.1 surround sound speakers. click apply, ok, and then see if your speakers are working.

I had this same problem. Try this. Go to EAX Console - Enable CMSS3D - CMSS2. Also check that the button (CMSS) on the external device is on. I hope it works.
