Thinking of upgrading from Sonar 1 to 2...

I haven't found it any more cpu intensive,it seems the same.

I haven't noticed SONAR 2.2 to be any more demanding, on my system, than 2.1,2.0 or 1.31. BTW, I am using an "old" PIII 1Ghz CPU too http://www.audioforums.com/forums/smile.gif Since I got my UAD-1 DSP effects card, I don't feel the need to upgrade my CPU. Hopefully, I can get another year or so out her, then I'll probably splurge on a P4 3+ Ghz, when the chips are much cheaper.
