Helo folkz,

what instrument in cubase sx would be the best to produce qulity bass lines(i dont mean bass drums - kicks) but bass line like guitar, analog bass or something like that. Instruments included in cubase sx just wont to that http://www.audioforums.com/forums/frown.gif

I'm not in front of my PC right now, so I can't tell you any names, but I like the basses in both the VST Instrument plug-ins. They're not classic, analogue-sounding, but I find them very useful and sometimes that synth sound is better than a poor soundfont attempt at a "real" sound.

maybe but i havent managed to get that fully bass sound of of them... just can't do it http://www.audioforums.com/forums/frown.gif

the best way too achieve bas is:
buy halion (steinberg software sampler)
comes with some bases
buy specific sample cds.

for techno-like bas, the muen-tau-pro is brilliant.
