Cubase SX ... bouncing tracks

I can't get my audio tracks to bounce properly. If I try to bounce track 1 to (let's say) track 5, it writes the audio data on top of track 1. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Help please.

-Rat, are you bouncing or Copy/Pasting ?
...If you're copy/pasting from track 01 to 05 you have to use the region function to highlight where you want the pasted info to go to.
