Maybe this is a naive question.... are all MIDI triggers equal?

It looks handy, attached to the pc keyboard, and bundled with some (albeit cheesy-looking) tutorial software/hardware, but is it worth buying (in Tokyo they won't deliver directly, so it's a bit of a pain to get one)?

Looks really cool to me. Beings I am no Keyboard player and basically trigger and pluck notes from my controller. I wouldn't buy one for more than $100.00 though.

Yeah, It'd probably be quite handy for someone who just assembled their tunes from pre-made loops and samples and just needs a most simple music keyboard to pick the notes. Personally I can't stand any computer keyboard with the big L-shaped enter key, I need a big backspace key too often. I'd say it's probably worth $50, not $100.
