XP Midi record problem

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me with this problem? I am recording midi in Cubase VST 5.1R2b and when I stop the recording the midi is placed BEFORE the point where I started.

For example, if I start playing at 2.0.0.0 when I stop the recording the midi informtion will actually show me starting at 1.1.0.0 and I have to slide everything forward.

I have tried the same system under Windows ME and it records fine, but I need to be on XP really to get the low latency with the 24/96 Audiophile.

Help!!??

I'm having a similar problem except that the audio I record is getting placed AFTER the time it was recorded at. There is no discerable delay between me pressing the key on my keyboard and the sound being sent by the sampler, and it's Cubase that's doing the echoing, so I'm not sure why it's failing.

I'm using the Beta 8 WDM driver for my Dakota/Sierra combination.
