intel 866mz p3 switch to XP for cubase SX ?

Hi I have a P3 866mz currently using ME.I want to know if Swithing to XP and getting cubase SX will work. Is anyone runing a simalr setup with okay results.I believe they reccomend a 1ghz processor. MY unit isn/t that old and has a 133mz bus. Any input would help.
