Hardware Compatibility

Is anyone using Sonar 2.0 with the following hardware?

- 700MHz Pentium 3
- 128 Meg RAM
- 30 Gig Hard Drive

How well does it work? Does it crash or lock up?

Well, I have a 700 MHz PIII with a 30 GB drive (in addition to a 12 GB drive) and 256 MB RAM, and it works beautifully for me.

What kind of soundcard do you have? Does it have multiple inputs? Also, do you use any software synths in addition to those provided in Sonar?

I want to transfer songs that I made on a four-track cassette recorder to Sonar and then sweeten the tunes with additional tracks recorded in Sonar.

I have a SoundBlaster Live card that I use strictly for its Sound Font capability, and an M Audio Delta 66 for audio recording.

So far I have done little with softsynths other than run through the tutorials; I have yet to really work with any of them.
