The first stereo track alway records and plays back fine. When I overdub subsequent tracks on top of that, about 50% of the time they are filled with crackling noises. I contacted tech support for the Delta 66 and they told me to uncheck "enable simulataneous recording and playback." Sure enough, that fixes the crackling, the problem is I can't hear the first track now while recording which is pretty much a necessity. I questioned them on this and they indicated that there was a way to do this in Cakewalk, but they couldn't tell me how. I have tried every sort of buss combination and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
