You guys got me up and running today but there are still issues that have to be addressed.
1. What about all the plug-ins on my drive that I'm not allowed to use? Thats taking up precious space. Any ideas?
2. How come when you don't enter a response to the challenge, you can't escape the screen where it says try it or buy it? That crashed my computer a couple of times.
3. I read somewhere in this forum that if you re-install to the same drive after reformat that you get a different challenge but the same response works. That wasn't the case with mine. Whats up? Come on tech support, don't fail me now.

To answer those questions -

1.) If you are on PC and you need to remove the plug-ins you are not authorized for, you go to the Waves plug-ins folder (my computer -> C drive ->Program files -> Waves) and remove the .dlls for the plug-ins you are not authorized for. If you are on a Mac go to the Waves folder on your boot drive, into the Waves folder, and then into the Waves plug-ins folder. Remove the plug-ins you are not authorized for.

In both case you need to leave IDR, on the PC you also need to leave the Waves.dll. On the Mac you need to leave the WavesLib.

2.)The authorization screen is part of the PACE application. You should be able to ctrl>alt>delete out of it without a crash.

3.)You have to enter the original response in the first time you are asked after the reformat, if you cancel thru this your drive will be unauthorized.

If there is anything else please let us know.
