waves vs nuendo on win2000

I've install waves on win 2000 and sometimes a strange SZSZSZSZ comes on(if you are using more than one L1 plug in)is there any kind of conflict with nuendo and waves?please reply!!

could this problem be becouse of the directx of the win2000(i have only he first version)?sometimes when i open a project and appers a message that says "directx wraper" and then "sorry plugin not install"!i think the version of the directx is 5!thanks

I would highly suggest updating your DirectX to 7.0
