how do I get Pro Tools to find my Waves?

I am under the understanding that Pro Tools is suppose to ask me for the folder for my Waves plug-ins. It doesn't. I'm using 5.1. I'm really at a loss as how to have Pro Tools find my Waves plug-ins. I recently installed the Ren-pack and the Pro-FX 3.0 versions. Any help out there?

Are you running a PC? then
I dont think you have the WaveShell-RTAS beta
installed, download it and try..
PT will find the plug-ins during the DAE loading..

I contacted customer support and they told me about the shell download...everything works fine now...thank you
