Hi people and happy holiday:
I finally broke down and bought my first plug-in collection and now it won't install. Amazing uh? I think it has to do with the pace protection that came with the waves demo's that I tried out about 4 months ago. What is supposed to happen now ( acording to the book ) is, install Ren Col, have fun for 14 days and make sure that you register within the 14 day time limit. What happens in real life is, near the end of the install procces a window pops up the says " this waves demo has timed out. If you wish to purchase press next ". Now, just to be clear, I'm trying to unstall new plug-ins that I just bought, not a demo. The thing that makes me think this has something to do with the demo is that the same thing happened when I tried to down load the demo a second time a few months after first trying it.. I can't find any thing that seems left over from the demo's and the only place I can find the new R collection is in windows explorer under programs. It's not in my Dx menu and it doesn't show up if I hit start and go to programs. I know you're all tired from being out enjoying the beach or the river or the lake but if you've got a minute and feel like doing your
good deed for the day I can dig it! TIA as always.

But wait! There's more! I thought I would try the install again. First step would be to uninstall the first installation attempt and then try a new one. Here's the new problem. When trying to uninstall the first attempt via explorer or control panel I get this message: the log file 'C:\program file\waves30uninst.isu' is not valid or the data has been corrupted. Uninstallation will not continue.......and I have to click "OK" as that's the only button. And so here I sit with this dumb look on my face ( dumber than usuall ) thinking this is like a chess game and the computor is winning..........so far. Next move
anyone?
Again, Thanks for the help.
