Hi:
Now that the Renaissance Collection has been out for a while I was wondering what the overall opinions are. I've been down loading lots of demo's and really like the Sonic Timeworks stuff. IMO they seem to be the best trade off for sonic quality vs cpu piggieness. However they're very pricey. I downloaded the waves demo a while ago and wanted to try it again in order to narrow it down but I guess you're only allowed one demo. Here are the questions I have:
Is there more than one version of the compressor in the Renassaince Collection.
Is the compressor a cpu hog?
Opinions, Sonic Timeworks vs Renassaince Collection.
Does the piggesh cpu load of the Ren reverb make it unusable?
I remeber liking the Ren Col alot and the price (199.00)was right. I've done a search on this and couldn't find much info so any opinions are welcome. I use a plll 800mHz, 256 sdram, Samp 24/96.
Thanks VERY much for any info. http://www.audioforums.com/forums/smile.gif
peace, Bruce
