Hi, whatīs going on!!?? i need your help guys with the following; to make a very long story short, iīm just using cool edit for recording my bands stuff for now.

How can i record a click track where i can manipulate the tempo and notes at will (in the cool edit)?

i need to know a bit more about the "chain effects" applied to every individual track (which effects, and the order applied, depending on the instrument also.....)

How do i synch and/or mix the several tracks iīve recorded?

the most interesting question off the bunch: can i export the tracks iīve recorded with the cool edit to another software? pro tools in this case

or anyone of you know where i can get a tutorial of how to record in multitrack mode (recording techniques, effects and so on) with the cool edit (the help files havenīt been of that much help for me )??

Thanx in advance.

I used CEP for many years. I had the best luck creating multi-tempo click tracks with either Fruity Loops or my SR-16 Drum machine. I just created each tempo section separately then arranged the parts in the multi-track window.

Need more info. The order of your effect chain will vary depending on the effects and instruments in use, but typically, effects like compression would come first in the chain and effects such as reverbs would come last.

I'm not working with PT, but have had no problem opening the files from my CEP projects in Nuendo that I'm now using.

Several years ago, Syntrillium sent me a video tutorial for CEP 1.2 I don't see anything about a tutorial on the new web-site now that it is owned by Adobe. They sent it to me for free, so I assume it would be OK to give out a copy. Its about 480Mb, so if you have a broadband connection, I could make it available to you.

About the "chain effects", i would like to know which ones i should aplly for the "basics" instruments for a band (electric & acoustic gutars, bass, drums and vocals, just those http://www.audioforums.com/forums/wink.gif )

i really will appreciate if you can provide me with that video, i think it will help me a lot (i just got msn messenger for the moment, my account is cygnus_the_sinus@hotmail.com, my connection itīs 256k cable for download)
