Fellow Home Recorders,
Win XP , I'm told, is not compatable with any exsisting CD burning software. I have CD Creator 5. Although XP has CD burning builtt right in, it is not disk at once, which I hear is necessary for burning a master. Does anyone know of any patchs for older CD programs , or of any CD software that will work with XP.
I thought I heard something about CD Creator 5.1 being compatable.Hopefully I can just make ver 5 work with a patch, rather then buying a whole new program. I just bought 5.0 a few months ago for Gods sake.
Thanks
DCO

Easy CD Creator works in Version 5.02 after installing the xp drivers, see roxio homepage www.roxio.com. (http://www.roxio.com.)
Had a lot of trouble to find out, but finally it worked when
1st installing 5.0, then the xp drivers, then 5.02 update.
Nero 5.5 also works, but can anyone tell me how to set the pause between audio tracks to 0 by default ? I removed the program again because i'm not willing to do this for each and every cd.

avoid the adaptac/roxio ware and go for nero 5.5.1.8 - had no problems at all. for audio burning i'm using an oldish version of feurio, which works fine under XPpro

I concur, Nero does everything and does it well on WinXP.
