Nice logo, I need to say.

Is there somebody, who's been actually working on it?
From what I have read in specs, my first beta-impression is that there is going to be a little dissapointment over the long time users in regards of expectations.
As far as I can remember there were several threads-wishlists started, including me 2 years ago.
It seems to me that the update - upgrade is not that huge as I personaly would like and Syntrillium has just implemented things that are a must in today's audio software.
And that ACID like looping, what is it?
What's behind "and much more!" in the end of specs???
Thell me that I am WRONG!!!

I'm sure CEP2 will be a well tested application, but I'm dissapointed in Syntrillium's lack of attention to MIDI.

I was hoping to have the audio capabilities of CEP and the MIDI of Sonar. I don't think it's going to happen. When I expressed this opinion on Syntrillium's board, they deleted my post. I have a lower opinion of the company and the product.

<<I was hoping to have the audio capabilities of CEP and the MIDI of Sonar. I don't think it's going to happen>>

Although this is a roundabout way, you could save/convert the MIDI tracks to audio in Sonar and import into CEP first before overdubbing "live" audio.

Or just use Sonar altogether...LOL
