The subject title says it all... what VU meter range do you use and why? Thanks

Depends if you want to see your noise floor level or not. I use around the -90db setting my noise floor is around -80 after everthing is up and running. It nice to watch in case something changes and you see your noise floor increases.

Ditto, I use -90db as well, I like to see my noise floor. That way I know if it has changed or what my levels are on lower level input.

Yo,

I use -120 db, because BIGGER IS BETTER.

Seriously, I use this because I like the way it looks 'busy' on the screen.

But to see the noise floor, -90 is just fine.
