CEP to Mix Rap Tunes

Does anyone use CEP to mix Rap Music to make MIXCDs (2 or more existing songs to make a smooth mix)?

I am having a heck of a time with track volumes and track EQs. I either get too much bass (sub-bottom) in one track, too much muddiness in another etc... Everthing sounds great until I burn and test in a car-stereo or any high-powered system. Any Tips or product recommendations?

Try different speakers/monitors to mix on. Or, a workaround is that you could keep testing until you find the best balance for your car, then use the EQ on that CD for the standard EQ balance for your mixes.

try playing a commercial song that you know well in your monitors and see if there is a difference with respect to hearing it elsewhere. if there is, then beetlefans the man
