I just wanted to say that i love cooledit's full reverb the most over any other reverb. i tried the lauded waves trueverb, tc native reverb, of course reverbs from sonic foundry, cubase, etc.

i think it offers most control and realism, and it plain sounds great with virtually any settings.
i think it's superior to trueverb coz it's early reflections section really adds to the sound where as most people using trueverb have to turn their early reflections off coz otherwize the sound bocomes placed in a "box" or a "room" and it's almost impossible to make that room to sound like hall.

using fullreverb i managed to get sounds of canions, halls, clubs anything i wanted. have you guys ever tried using room dimentions which are wide and not so long with pretty high ceilings? if not you got to check it out. you would blieve the spaciousness you can get.
how do you all like two! controlls of diffusion (diffusion and dispersion)! you can make really live tails! no matter how you tune trueverbs tail it's always too flat and unnaturally smooth.

i just had to say this.

i wish fullreverb was issued by syntrillium as a standalone reverb dx or vst plugin. it could easily cost 300 bucks and people would bye it.

I have since gone back to using fullverb and not being afraid to try something new with the delay times room size ect. I think i was looking for something simple and good as an everyday verb but always came up short. I didn't want the time consuming headache of trying different verbs and waiting for it to process each one. Very time consuming. But i have since returned to doing that. I'd like to hear some peoples general setups for reverbs for vocal, drums ect. within cool edit.

I use reverb, but sparingly. The problem I find with reverb used on voices is that the voices often sound too 'hollow'. The reverb seems to dominate the original sound.
I don't want the voices to sound as though they are 'far away'...I just want a reverb to increase the 'presence'.
