How do I copy the right channel to left? I want to be able to "copy" the right channel (which I have no problem with) and then paste over what is on the left channel. Everytime I try to paste it to the left I can't do it without highlighting the left channel but then the starting postion changes. Does anyone know the simple steps to do this?
Thanks in advance...

Hmm...
Here's how I do it:
* Copy the left chanel to a clipboard.
* Move the arrow key to the left chanel and click. Now the cursor (yellow bar) appears only in the left chanel. The other chanel turns dark.
* Place the cursor to the right position.
* Now paste the data from the clipboard. The coppied data should start at the cursorposition.

P.S. I don't understand why you can't copy the right chanel without highlighting a selection... this never happens to me...

Hello HanzZ,
i'm probably not making myself very clear. I do know how to copy left or right channel to the other channel using the copy>paste command. my question is how do you bounce a section from the left to the right without having to manually position the cursur to the exact spot on the other/paste channel? I find this hard to do. For example if I copy a small section of the left channel starting at 46.521 how do I get it to paste at 46.521 on the right channel? It takes me forever to click exactly on that precise spot on the right channel. Hope this further explanation helps... Can anyone help me out? I'm thinking there must be a quick way to bounce section of music back and forth between left and right...

Use the Cue List to place a marker at the insertion point in the right channel. Press F8 to drop a cue mark where your cursor is. Then when you switch to the left channel, as long as Snap to Cues is turned on (right click on the horizontal ruler), you can reposition the cursor to that position exactly.
You could also use the Channel Mixer to do it.
