MP3's going mono

I'm converting stereo files to MP3's. (Using Syntrylium software) They appear to be fine when I close a session. However, when I go back at a latter date and open the session the MP3 files have been converted to mono.

Anyone able to give a hint as to what I should look for?

In your Save window, click on the Options button and look in the MP3 options window. There is a Convert to Mono box in there. If it is checked then it always saves MP3 files as mono.
