Follow up on copying and pasting!

HI! I am making a simple how to for somebody who is helping me record my demos. What is the easiest way to copy, let's say a guitar part recorded in left channel of, let's say Track 1 to right channel of Track 2. Please be specific, as I have been recording another guitar track but have been told that this can be done in most recording software. Thanks for help, for your info, I disabled my SB16 emulation in my SB live card and all is back to normal. Await your expertise, Psongman

Hi Psongman,

This is how I do it:

Rightclick the part you want to copy. Select "duplicate waveform" from the pop-up menu. Type in "1". Now drag the new part - by rightclicking and holding the part - to the other track.

You can also use the windows copy and paste commands. Select the clip or part of it and press ctr + C, move the cirsor to the other track and press ctrl + V.
