Hello all.
I am having some problems. First off, let me give a quick explanation of what I'm doing.
I have a PC based workstation using Sonar 2.0. I am currently tracking drums; however, I am tracking them via MIDI. I have successfully recorded a drummer who has played his track on my Roland V-Session drumkit in real time. My drum brain is the Roland TD-10. I am monitoring the session via MIDI out of my AP2496 and back into the drum brain. From there, it's stereo out into my monitoring board.
Anyhow, in Sonar's Piano View, I see the performance he has just tracked. Everything sounds great. It recorded everything perfectly, including all the hi-hat controller information. Well then what's the problem then you ask? Well... I can't seem to get the cymbol chokes he performed within the track to record!?! What type of MIDI message does cymbol chokes on a trigger transmit??
Anyone have any insight so I can get this project rolling???
Thanks all
cheers
jay
