Hi,
I have the Emu 6400 sampler and why can it send midi to my soft seq (cubase) ?
I would like that all manipulations made one the e6400 (like moving the ModWheel, making a filter or changing the velocity, etc.) is recognized in Cubase.
I well plugged the sampler and my main keyboard to a midiman merge 2X2 which is plugged to my PC via my midiman midisport 1X1. But Cubase receive only MIDI info from the keyboard (and not the sampler).
Maybe I missed something in my e6400 config or..?
Thanks in advance!

First - any selections you make with the E6400 (you mention selecting filters, etc.) is not going to transmit midi data of any kind, so you're out of luck there.

It CAN receive midi data FROM a modwheel, but since it has none of it's own, it won't transmit any midi data corresponding to a modwheel.

I think you may have some misperceptions about what the E6400 can do, that's all.

ok.. BUT.. if I move the ModWhl of my emu the movement must be recognized in Cubase it isn't? Like when I play my keyboard...

Erm - I'm a bit confused. If you're talking about the rack version of the E6400, then it won't have a mod wheel. Maybe you're thinking of the jog dial?
