midi help with Korg N1

Greetings,

I have a korg N1 and I am trying to get midi to playback through it from my notebook running cakewalk HS v8.0. I can record fine but cannot playback. I've tried setting 'local=off' on the keyboard and I'm pretty sure the signal is getting there as there are lights on the midi interface I use that flash to indicate activity. Has anyone had experience getting N1 to playback midi from a pc? Any help GREATLY appreciated.

Hi,
My Korg is an X5D so I'm am not familiar with N1 but they are simular. See if a the MIDI filter is engaged on the imput section.

What sequenser are you using?
Have you selected an output MIDI driver in the sequenser?
