I'm using scsi to download samples from my yamaha a3000 to my pc. Using twe edit and sound forge 6.
However for longer samples mid download, scsi crashes and the computer won't recognise that the yamaha is attached until i restart.
This happens in 98 and xp. I'm using a adaptec 2904
any ideas
thanks

You might have more luck posting this in the Studio Gear or Musical Instruments forums. Although this is related to PC OS issues, it's more likely to be resolved by someone using the same hardware as you.

hi,
i too have an a3000 n xp etc etc...
one cause might be what aspi drivers yur using (if at all). Use 4.60 http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/aspi.html
and if thats not the problem i dont know what it may be... could be anything. BUT...
a couple appz u should be using that may solve things also if not you definately should be using them anyways with the a3000. rather than post the names here and send u on a wild goose hunt all over the net, jus email me and i'll send em to ya icq or something. trust me... you'll be pleased!
