Hy,
I 'm building a tube amp, and would like to put a effects send/return after the preamp. The problem is:
The output of the pre is about tens of volts (much higher than the standard line level), and i 'm afraid to burn the effects (pedals) input. I could use a output volume control, and a stronger driver after the return, to the power section, but would amplify all the noise in effects circuit too...
anybody know the limit to amplify the signal in preamp whithout burn the effects input?
Thank you since now

Philos

Why don't you forget all the work and buy a Mesa Boogie, all your problems will be solved.

Not all of his problems, it would sound like a Mesa Boogie. http://www.audioforums.com/forums/biggrin.gif

For a Bass rig I use a QSC RMX1450 power amp, with an Alembic F-2B Stereo Tube Preamp, Speaker cab is a Ampeg SVT 810. Awesome sound..
