I'm considering buying a Yamaha A4000. The E5000 and the A4000 have a similar feature that allows one to divide a sampe between its amplitudes. (like recyle)
Yamaha calls it loop divide. Emu catagorizes it as beat munging.
Please give me your thoughts on the E5000's Beat Munging. After a sample is chopped and key mapped, how easy is it (or was it if you don't still have the E5000) to develope a new usable sample? A-series users, same question.
Were you able to make new drum kits effeciently and to your liking?
Thanks. I'm sure your response will promt more questions.
ps: I've read most of Emu's and Yamaha's documenation on the subjects. But they wanna sell units, so all of their respective products are great according to them.
