Hey,Got a '75 fender rhodes and a big rhodes powered cabinet to boot but: it deathly quiet. The amp inside the cab seems fine as ive run other keyboards with a higher output through it and the volume was enough. I spoke to a "rhodes specialist" if there is such a thing, and i was told that this was common in rhodes keyboards and that they just put out a very low signal and that there is something i can get to safely boost this signal.
does anyone know what that thing is or a reasonable solution to this problem
thanks alot

Hmmm, I had one in the late 70s (damn, wish I'd held onto it!) and never had a problem getting a lot of sound with even a small amp. You might want to have someone else take a look at it.

Use a preamp, or simply some effect pedal.
