MIDI drum trigger

Can anyone steer me to a good MIDI drum trigger to use with Gigastudio? I don't want to notate, loop, draw piano rolls, or use a drum machine. I want something I can beat that will vary velocity and stuff just like a keyboard does with non-drum parts. Thanks in advance.

All i can suggest is using a drum pad or getting some pintech triggers and an Alesis drum module. You plug the triggers in and set the sounds and away you go. getting a trigger to work directly into your keyboard or soundcard would be a mission, if not impossible. But don't take my word for it.
I get great results from my Alesis D4 and 10 pintech triggers. all up cost me $400.
