Hey, I just bought a second-hand american stratocaster, and i want to optimalize it, but i'm not sure how to adjust the truss rod and intonation, anyone know some site with instructions on how to adjust 'em?

for truss rod moving clockwise is tigtening and vice versa, look at the neck from the bottom of the gtr, if it goes straight with the strings... for intonation, use a tuner, and check the 12 fret and open strings if they r at the same tone, moving the brigde in forward(to the neck) will make the intonation sharper and vice versa, good luck, also dun adjuzt the pickup too close to the strings the magnetic will kill the sustain ...

still a question though: how can i "lower" the strings onto the neck a little? because the strings on the last fret are a lot higher than on the first fret, so what do i do?
