any opinions on the Lexicon G2?

I'm interested in the Lexicon G2. Are there some users out there? What do you think about it vs. tons of foot pedals etc?

The Lexicon MPX-G2 (http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=5607334&siteid=20583305&bfpid=181050&bfmtype=gear) sounds pretty good but I went for the DigiTech 2120 Pre-amp/Processor (http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=5607334&siteid=20583305&bfpid=150197&bfmtype=gear) because it was closer to the sound I wanted and I found it easier to edit.

The G2 straight out rocks. Is it worth the money? That's up to you. The 2120 isn't really a fair comparison as it's not really in the same class as the G2. For a fair comparison, go head to head with the TC Electronic unit. I assume that you're just using it for effects as you compare it to footpedals in your post.
