Strait to the point.

This is my problem.

The audio on my Asus A7N8X(regular) sounds good for a couple of minutes. Then all of the sudden it begins to echo or vibrate.
This happens in any Pc game i try to play.
It make like a reverbarating sound for every sound the game emits.

I am running WinXP Pro OS

okay, this is a fairly new problem with the A7N8X. As far as i know Asus has not released a patch for this, or has Realtek, since it actually is a two part problem, with no company at fault, but incompatibilities between the two. Most nforce2 boards are configured properly, but Asus set the Realtek APU registers wrong when trying to give compliance to Dolby Digital 5.1 with WindowsXP. They made Dolby Digital 5.1 semi-hardware based in their APU, and while the registers are set properly in the A7N8X for that audio format, they do not work with any non-dolby digital 5.1 audio, DirectX8.0, etc. Since the A7N8X does not properly reset the registers when switching to another audio format, so of course, the 32-bit buffers fill with overhead code and non-data code from a different audio format, and you get choppy echo and other audio distortions when they quickly overrun.
I would try and put Windows2000Pro on the see if that OS switches registers with the A7N8X properly, as many people have claimed that OS to be more stable than XP due to its longer development time, or you could get a new soundcard not dependent on the Nforce2 and Realtek APU... just some thoughts, take all advice lightly.
