Couldn't find where to put the CD IN on new card

Apologies for posting this twice - I hadn't noticed this forum.

I couldn't find a place to plug in that little cable that comes down from the CD drive - did I miss it, what's the deal. The card is M-Audio's Audiophile.

What does that mean? I just play a CD using Media player and out it comes by the magic you mentioned?

There's a checkbox on the properties page for each CDROM in the system that says "Enable Digital CD Audio for this CDROM Device". You can get to it through the Device Manager.

That enables Windows to read the Audio through the IDE bus and play it back that way, avoiding the analog cable altogether.

Thanks, I can't wait to check it out - I installed the card last night then found I no longer had the right cables so I haven't heard it yet!
