Now. I've looked on a few soundcards, but I'm confused. Which card is the best of these? without thinking on the price.

Echo Event Gina 20 bit
Terratec EWS 88MT

It depends on what you plan on using it for! http://www.audioforums.com/forums/smile.gif

I have also lokked at the Lexicon Core 2, but heard that it's only supported with Intel processors. It's that true.

I used a Core 2 for years but I'm sure it's now discontinued. Mine cratered a month or 2 ago and I replaced it with a Terratec EWS88D (like the MT, but without the analog ins, since my studio is set up for fiberoptics). It was WAY less expensive than what I paid for the Lexicon. Lexicon claimed there was no compatibility issues between different chips. I never had a problem but the thing used so much of my CPUs resources that I couldn't use (for example) a USB 2.0 card in my machine. So far the Terratec has been troublefree, and the few problems I had setting it up (I am admittedly not a computer expert) were quickly resolved by emailing Terratec -- best support I've found in my limited experience.
