Hi All, I've just splashed out on a Terratec DMX 6 Fire for my PC. When playing MP3's i get a high pitched blip or blepping noise. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it happening. I've looked on the web, tried all the tuning tips i.e. card as far away as poss from agp, no other pci cards in there etc. I also get the same noise when i'm listening to samples within the loop explorer in sonar 3 Producer. Also some samples are speeded up when i listen to them via the loop explorer in Sonar 3.

Can anyone please help, the quality of sound on this card is awesome, but this noise is really annoying.

System: Athlon 2200XP; Gigabyte mobo;768MB ram, Radeon 9000 Pro 128MB. Using latest drivers for dmx6 and also mobo.

Thanks

I was having some popping problems while recording in samplitude with dmx6fire. After trying every buffer combination possible, I simply turned the master volume in terratec mixer down to around 75% and no more pops. I'm not sure how but having the master volume turned all the way up which I believe is the default setting, had something to do with my problem. My buffer settings within samp had nothing to do with it.
