Hi everyone!
My Audigy worked fine for a year. I record vocals and acoustic guitar in Sonar 2
on Win XP Pro.
Suddenly I can't record anything from a microphone plugged into the Line2/Mic2 socket on the breakout box.
I can record using the Audigy mic socket at the back of the computer, but the quality's poor and I need the boost on the front Mic2 socket.
I restored my OS from an image to a time when the Audigy worked fine, but it made no difference so I don't think it's a software problem.
The record meters in Sonar and the Creative recorder show no input activity at all from Mic2.
Everything else in the Audigy seems to be working fine.
The mixer's set to record from Line-in 2/Mic 2 and no settings have been changed from when it all worked fine.
I poked about in the case, reseated the card and checked the leads but everything seems fine.
Anyone seen anything like this before?
